My name is Tamara Ann Boyle. But everybody calls me BAFFLES T! (The T is for Tamara, see?) That is because I carry a pen and a book with empty pages around with me. Everywhere. So I can write stuff down. And I write a lot.
So one day, my Daddy started calling me 'Little Ms. Baffles' because people were "baffled" by me. (That means they couldn't understand why I was writing with a pen in a book. WHATEVER.)

Anyway, Daddy started calling me BAFFLES, and when the folks on Safe Alley heard it, they liked it! And so did I! So now, everybody on Safe Alley calls me BAFFLES. They only say BAFFLES T when they are being very formal. Whatever. Either one is fine with me!

Don't worry. Even though I can't spell very well, and I write funny sometimes, my Momma fixes my books 4 YOU, so they are very nice. And my best friend Sybil's daddy, Mr. Ben Small, fixes up my drawings and adds some pictures himself. It is all very amazing. And I just write.

MY MIKE HELPS ME, TOO.
My dog MIKE is the best. He helps me to not be afraid to send my writing out to... well, everybody. Dogs are like that. They always have a nice way of making you feel OK about yourself and what you are doing, even if you feel dumb sometimes. MIKE rocks! He helps me write!

Hello. I'm the "official" author of the BAFFLES T Series, featuring the one-and-only BAFFLES T. Boyle. I had always dreamed of living somewhere wonderful with lots of trees and happy people. Then one day, BAFFLES showed up (in my imagination) and started writing about Safe Alley --and all her adventures there. Wow. Welcome, everybody.
